DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football (12/27/23)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for Wednesday (12/27/23). His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We are tipping the scales with four games on each of the next four days before taking New Year's Eve off for the pros. We will end bowl season on New Year's Day with five games before the National Championship a week later. This is where bowl pools and DFS slates start to get really interesting. 16 games in four days is a lot of news to keep up with!

We begin in Annapolis with Tulane and Virginia Tech in the Military Bowl. Next up is the Duke's Mayo Bowl from Charlotte between North Carolina and West Virginia. The evening begins with Louisville and USC clashing in San Diego in the Holiday Bowl. We end in Houston with A&M in a de facto home game against Oklahoma State.

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/27/23, locking at 2 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Jack Plummer, Louisville ($8,900)

I am going to have a tough time paying this kind of coin for Plummer, but that USC defense was terrible this year. Plummer had big games this year against Miami, Boston College, and Georgia Tech. Two of those three games were close. As long as USC hangs around, Plummer has the potential for a really good game. If USC gets up big, Plummer should have to throw to keep up. I would say there is a good chance that one of those two scenarios play out, so Plummer should have at solid game at the least.

Jaylen Henderson, Texas A&M ($7,200)

Can you imagine where the Aggies would be had they used Henderson from the beginning? In his three starts, Henderson has 71.86 DraftKings points and wins in two of the three games. Their only loss was to LSU in a game in which they hung around until late in the game. We all saw what Quinn Ewers did to Oklahoma State, right? Henderson isn't Ewers, but he is plenty good enough to put up another strong performance.

Also consider: Garrett Greene, West Virginia ($9,000); Kyron Drones, Virginia Tech ($7,300); Justin Ibieta, Tulane ($5,800)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Ollie Gordon II, Oklahoma State ($9,500)

Running back is littered with land mines, but Gordon appears to be a guy we can trust. I don't think A&M jumps on them like UCF did and I would hope that the Oklahoma State coaching staff isn't dumb enough to repeat that low usage of Ollie Gordon no matter what the score is after seven minutes. Gordon is safe, but the ceiling isn't that high. The higher ceilings are cheaper, but the floors are terrifying, especially given the situations they are in.

Jahiem White, West Virginia ($5,800)

Welcome to my favorite play on the entire slate. White has 337 yards on 38 carries with a touchdown and two receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games. North Carolina's defense was awful before defections. The sky is the limit for White and he is way too cheap!

Austin Jones, USC ($5,200)

It's entirely possible that USC didn't need Marshawn Lloyd. Jones had good games when Lloyd was sidelined and should here as well. Like Lloyd, Jones was a highly touted recruit. He may not fit the traditional RB role, but maybe that's a good thing. Jones is a nice GPP play here since he has been taking snaps with Miller Moss for a couple of years now. This offense won't have the growing pains that many do after being ravaged by the portal.

Also consider: Omarion Hampton, North Carolina ($8,500); Makhi Hughes, Tulane ($7,300); Isaac Guerendo, Louisville ($5,700); Le'Veon Moss, Texas A&M ($5,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Brennan Presley, Oklahoma State ($6,300)

It took a bit, but Alan Bowman finally realized what an asset Presley is. Spencer Sanders knew. Presley closed the season with 33 receptions for 372 yards and a touchdown over the last three games. He has double-digit DraftKings points in every game since Week 6 against Kansas State. Presley got going around the same time as the rest of the offense did. The Cowboys neutered two really good players in Presley and Gordon in the early going because of how they handled this offense. Thankfully, they got it sorted out.

Da'Quan Felton, Virginia Tech ($6,000)

Ali Jennings is likely out again. That might not mean more targets for Felton, but he may not need them. Felton is a big play waiting to happen. He scored four touchdowns in the last two games on only 10 receptions, but he also racked up 220 yards. That's a hell of an average...

Jahdae Walker, Texas A&M ($5,000)

Ainias Smith is draft-bound and Evan Stewart entered the transfer portal. That leaves Walker as the de facto top receiver for the Aggies. Walker's stock was on the way up anyway with eight receptions in the last two games with Henderson throwing him the ball. He turned those eight receptions into 188 yards but didn't find the end zone. I'll bet that changes tonight.

Also consider: Tahj Washington, USC (7,000); Nate McCollum, North Carolina ($5,900); Zachariah Branch, USC ($5,800); Leon Johnson III, Oklahoma State ($5,300); Kole Taylor, West Virginia ($4,200)

DraftKings CFB Stacks:

West Virginia

We have two of the worst defenses of bowl season on this slate. I do think that USC's will be better now that they are removed from Alex Grinch and his gambling scheme that rarely paid off. That has me gravitating towards the Mountaineers. Greene, White, and Devin Carter are going to be a popular stack. I'm going to differentiate by either adding Kole Taylor to that stack or replacing Carter with him.

Louisville

Jawhar Jordan is out, and based on the way that Louisville ran things during the season when he was out, this spells a big game for Isaac Guerendo and...someone. The smart money says Maurice Turner. If you don't mind getting a zero, Keyjuan Brown is very talented, but only appeared in one game this season. With Jamari Thrash out, I'm going to be heavy on Ahmari Huggins-Bruce and don't mind stacking him with Plummer and Guerendo. He's going to be my only Louisville receiver, which is also a way to avoid a chalk lineup.

Also consider: Texas A&M, Virginia Tech
