NFL Playoff Picture and Wild Card Standings - Rams, Seahawks, Bills, Chiefs, Texans, Colts Among Teams In The Hunt

Gardner Minshew - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Updated 2023 NFL playoff picture, standings, AFC/NFC Wild Card race as of Week 16 (2023). A look at the top seeds and teams in the hunt for the NFL playoffs.

Week 15 saw plenty of surprising results, including the Buffalo Bills trouncing the Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks pulling the upset over the Philadelphia Eagles with Drew Lock under center. Buffalo and Seattle kept their postseason hopes alive, while both Philadelphia and Dallas failed to take a commanding lead in the NFC East.

The playoff picture is taking shape heading into Week 16, but only four teams have clinched a spot in the postseason thus far. There is still plenty of drama to unfold, but let's take a look at the current standings ahead of Week 16 action.

As a reminder, seven teams from each conference will qualify for the postseason. The top seeds in each conference will earn a first-round bye, while the three other division winners in each conference will host a playoff game in the Wild Card Round. Despite the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sitting at 7-7, they are currently ahead of the 10-4 Eagles due to the NFL's playoff format. Without further ado, let's dive into the standings.
