NFL DFS Lineup Sleepers for DraftKings, FanDuel - Week 14 Value Picks Include Gardner Minshew, Chuba Hubbard, Rashee Rice, and Brevin Jordan

Gardner Minshew - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Dawn's NFL DFS sleepers for DraftKings, FanDuel and Week 14 (2023). Her value picks and lineup sleepers for building winning daily fantasy football lineups.

We're on to Week 14, RotoBallers, and we're here to guide you through the 14th week of the season and find sneaky sleeper values to help you take down your favorite contest. If you're playing cash games, you don't have to have the top QB or RB of the week. But in Guaranteed Prize Pools (GPPs)? The best way to go is to focus on players with the highest potential upside for their DFS price.

This article will run every week throughout the regular season. It won't include the obvious choices but instead players who appear to be undervalued in current DFS formats. As the values currently sit, players will qualify as a value in DFS (based on DraftKings salaries) for this article if they are a quarterback in the 5k range, running backs who are 6k or less, wide receivers at 5.5k and under, and 4k or less for tight ends. When it comes to tournaments, stacking our quarterback with one of their pass catchers is a must.

It's crucial to prioritize players with higher guaranteed floors and consistency to increase our chances of winning cash games. No matter which game you choose, these picks will come in handy. So, without further ado, let's dive in!

Quarterback NFL DFS Value Plays - Week 14

Jake Browning, CIN vs. IND | DK: $5,200, FD: $6,500

I feel like I'll be saying this a few times in this article, but the Cincy/Indy game has a (current) spread of -1.5, and if it stays competitive, we could see a high-scoring game. Indianapolis only allows 225 passing yards per game, which will be challenging for Browning and the Cincinnati offense. However, with weapons like Ja'Marr Chase and Joe Mixon, the Bengals can overcome the Colts' defense, and Browning can earn his second win of the season.

Gardner Minshew, IND @ CIN | DK: $5,400, FD: $6,900

Aaaand we're back to the Indy/Cincy game. The Bengals have allowed a high number of DFS points to quarterbacks this year, ranking eighth in the league. In fact, in five of the past six games, the opposing team's quarterback has scored at least 20 fantasy points against them. The upcoming game is crucial for the Colts, who are fighting for a playoff spot in the AFC. The Colts have a record of 7-3 when Minshew is the starting quarterback.

"Minshew magic, man," linebacker EJ Speed said. "Let's just keep this going, man. I think he's a great quarterback, he can make a playoff run with us, and we got his back for sure."

Running Back NFL DFS Value Plays - Week 14

Javonte Williams, DEN @ LAC | DK: $5,800, FD: $6,600

Denver Broncos' Javonte Williams will be up against a mediocre run defense when they face the Los Angeles Chargers this week. The Chargers are ranked 17th for the number of rushing yards allowed, at 113.8 per game. Williams has been the top-performing running back for the Broncos, having gained 584 yards (53.1 ypg) on 153 rushes. He has also caught 29 passes for 155 yards (14.1 ypg) and scored two touchdowns.

Chuba Hubbard, CAR @ NO | DK: $5,600, FD: $6,700

The Carolina Panthers' running back, Chuba Hubbard, is set to face the ninth-worst run defense in the league this Sunday in the New Orleans Saints. Hubbard has rushed 143 times for 557 yards this season and has scored four rushing touchdowns. He posted his first 100-yard game of the season against the Buccaneers, rushing 25 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns. After scoring just once in the first 10 games, Hubbard has scored three rushing touchdowns in the past two games.

Jerome Ford, CLE vs. JAX | DK: $5,500, FD: $6,300

Ford has been sharing the responsibility of rushes in the red zone with Kareem Hunt. However, this week, Ford has an excellent opportunity to perform well against the Jaguars. Since Week 8, the Jaguars have allowed the second-highest explosive run rate, the highest missed tackles per attempt, and the fifth-highest yards per carry to gap runs, which is 5.15. More than half of Ford's carries, which is 53.9%, have been on gap plays.

Wide Receiver NFL DFS Value Plays - Week 14

Rashee Rice, KC vs. BUF | DK: $5,400, FD: $6,300

Saying that the Chiefs' wide receivers have had issues holding onto the ball would be an understatement. The Chiefs lead the league in passes dropped this season, but Rice is second only to Travis Kelce in receiving yards and tied with Kelce for the most touchdowns (5).

The Bills are allowing 64% of pass completions this season, 75% in their last three games. With those numbers going up, the Chiefs might be able to overcome a few dropped passes. If they do, Rice would be one of the main recipients of throws from Patrick Mahomes.

Jerry Jeudy, DEN @ LAC | DK: $4,700, FD: $5,800

In Jeudy's last five games, he has 15 catches for 205 yards but has scored just one touchdown. This week's good news is that the Los Angeles Chargers' passing defense is one of the weakest in the NFL. They have been giving up the second-most passing yards this season, totaling 3,481 yards and allowing 17 touchdowns.

Coach Sean Payton has hinted that Jeudy requires more ball possession, and this weekend seems like the perfect opportunity to get him going.

Josh Downs, IND @ CIN | DK: $4,900, FD: $5,900

Yes, we are here again with an Indianapolis wide receiver. The Colts' upcoming game against the Bengals presents a great opportunity for Downs to showcase his skills and make a difference for the Colts. This is due to the Bengals giving up the sixth-highest number of passing yards this season. Downs has been consistently the second most targeted player for the Indianapolis team, with Michael Pittman Jr. being the only player targeted more frequently.

Tight End NFL DFS Value Plays - Week 14

Brevin Jordan, HOU @ NYJ | DK: $3,100, FD: $5,100

Jordan will start as the tight end for Sunday's game against the Jets, as Dalton Schultz has been ruled out for the second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury. Jordan had an impressive performance last week with 64 receiving yards in the Texan's win against the Broncos. With Schultz still out, this presents an excellent opportunity for Jordan to continue building on his performance against the Jets. New York has allowed the most touchdowns to tight ends this season (seven), currently tied with New Orleans.

Isaiah Lively, BAL vs. LAR | DK: $3,500, FD: $5,200

With Mark Andrews being placed on IR for the rest of the season, Likely will, er, likely take over as the Baltimore Ravens' starting tight end. Likely is a big, athletic, tight end who can be a threat in yards per catch. This season, he is averaging 6.5 YAC, the sixth-most among all tight ends with 15 or more targets. While the sample size is small, Likely has demonstrated that he has the necessary traits to play a significant role in the team's offense in the future.
