Biggest Fantasy Football Busts of the Week - Fantasy Outlooks for Trevor Lawrence, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Mark Andrews, more

Travis Etienne Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

The 10th Sunday of the 2023 NFL season has come and gone. Hopefully, you woke up on Monday morning feeling very good about how your matchup went. However, this week's slate of games was certainly stress-inducing for many fantasy football managers.

Part of that stress was caused by a group of players who drastically underachieved in Week 10. These players simply did not meet fantasy expectations, and it cost their managers in a big way.

Let's take a look at the biggest busts from Week 10, as well as whether or not we can still have some trust in these players moving forward. All point totals are based on the PPR scoring system.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers won two writing awards and received 12 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association. A big congrats to our very own Byron Lindeque (Golf) and Jordan McAbee (NASCAR) for both winning Writer Of The Year awards! Fantasy Football Quarterback Busts

Trevor Lawrence, 2.1 FPTS

Lawrence looked abysmal in Sunday's loss to the 49ers, leading just one scoring drive while finishing with three turnovers. He hasn't quite taken the Year 3 stride that many fantasy managers had been hoping for (or even expecting). He's a high-end QB2 for Week 11 versus Tennessee.

Will Levis, 5.96 FPTS

Levis hasn't thrown for a touchdown since his big debut in Week 8. This Sunday, he was held under 200 yards, threw one interception, and took four sacks. To his credit, Tennessee has faced tough defenses over their last two games, so perhaps the rookie will bounce back against the Jaguars in Week 11.

Fantasy Football Running Back Busts

Derrick Henry, 3.0 FPTS

Henry was bottled up by the Bucs' relentless defensive front, rushing for just 24 yards while losing four yards through the air. 2.18 YPC is absurdly low for any running back, let alone one of Henry's caliber, and is a true testament to just how well this Tampa Bay defense is playing. Henry should bounce back against the Jaguars in Week 11.

Saquon Barkley, 7.1 FPTS

Things are getting ugly in New York. The Giants cannot move the ball with Tommy Devito under center, and feeding Barkley should really be reserved for neutral or positive game scripts. The Giants head into Week 11 versus the Commanders as underdogs, though the good news is that Barkley doesn't have to face Dallas again this year.

Tony Pollard, 5.5 FPTS

Speaking of Dallas, Pollard was not a major contributor as the Cowboys took an early lead and turned to Rico Dowdle. Interestingly, Dowdle nearly doubled Pollard's YPC and also found the end zone. All that aside, Pollard is still a talented runner and brighter days lie ahead for him. He'll take on the Panthers in Week 11.

Travis Etienne, 6.4 FPTS

Etienne struggled as a result of the Jaguars' woeful day on offense. A pass-heavy game script led to the 24-year-old rushing just nine times for 33 yards. There's optimism that he can bounce back in Week 11, though he faces yet another challenge in the form of a Titans defense that held Rachaad White to 2.55 YPC on Sunday.

Chuba Hubbard, 5.9 FPTS

Fantasy managers hoped that a more neutral game script could lead to bigger production from Hubbard, but that wasn't the case. Chicago's impressive run defense held him to 2.56 YPC, and he added just two targets in the passing game. Fantasy managers should bench him in most leagues as he faces a strong Cowboys defensive line.

Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Busts

DeAndre Hopkins, 5.7 FPTS

Hopkins' quiet game goes hand-in-hand with the dud from Levis. The veteran receiver was targeted eight times but finished with just three catches. Perhaps he can bounce back against a softer Jaguars secondary in Week 11.

Diontae Johnson, 2.7 FPTS

The Steelers won on Sunday, but Johnson had his worst game of the year, catching just one of four targets for 17 yards. This outing feels like an anomaly considering he caught 20 passes for 254 yards from Weeks 7 to 9. He's a mid-range WR3 heading into next week's clash with the Browns.

Calvin Ridley, 4.0 FPTS

Noticing a pattern here? Yup, another Jaguar! Ridley certainly hasn't been immune to "dud" games this year, and Week 10 was no exception. He caught just two passes on four targets despite Jacksonville operating on a negative game script for the entire contest. He shouldn't be started against the Titans in Week 11.

Marquise Brown, 3.8 FPTS

Kyler Murray led the Cardinals to a victory in his first game back, but he did so without a heavy dependence on Brown. The 26-year-old caught just one pass for 28 yards, and while he should bounce back down the stretch, he might struggle against a strong Texans secondary next week.

Fantasy Football Tight End Busts

Mark Andrews, 6.4 FPTS

Andrews' game could've been worse, but there are definitely managers disappointed with his showing on Sunday. The 28-year-old finished with just 44 yards on a season-low two receptions, though he's more than capable of bouncing back versus Cincinnati next weekend.

Evan Engram, 5.2 FPTS

You thought we were done with the Jaguars? Nope! Engram had his worst game of the season, catching four passes for a measly 12 yards. Fantasy managers will hope he can bounce back as a mid-to-low TE1 next Sunday.

Taysom Hill, 4.3 FPTS

Hill's electric four-game stretch of fantasy dominance came to an end on Sunday as the Saints' entire offense struggled to get things going versus Minnesota, especially early in the contest. The Swiss army knife has a high floor and low ceiling ahead of his next matchup, a Week 12 meeting with Atlanta.
