San Francisco 49ers star pass-rusher Nick Bosa is not in the building for meetings with his teammates with the first practice week of the regular season upon us, according to sources, as his holdout continues. His status for Week 1 of the regular season against the Pittsburgh Steelers is now in doubt as he seeks a blockbuster contract extension. If the 25-year-old All-Pro doesn't get a new deal, he'd be playing the 2023 season on his $17.85 million fifth-year option. Fantasy managers that took Bosa early as their starting defensive lineman in IDP leagues need to have a backup option in place in case Bosa's holdout stretches into the regular season. The 49ers defense/special teams unit should still be started in Week 1 fantasy lineups, but they won't have as much upside if Bosa isn't on the field against Pittsburgh.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
