Kyle Philips Puts On Weight
1 year agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips has put on weight this offseason and looked solid in offseason practices, according to TennesseeTitans.com's Jim Wyatt. Philips has looked more comfortable in the offense this offseason and is currently the favorite to play the slot in 2023. The 24-year-old stood out last year in training camp and the preseason heading into his first NFL season, but he ended up playing in only four games due to hamstring and shoulder injuries. He finished with only eight receptions on 13 targets for 78 yards. The former fifth-rounder should have a bigger role this year with Robert Woods out of the picture, but his target share will still be pretty unreliable in an offense that still runs through running back Derrick Henry.
