DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/20/23): Today's Top NBA DFS Lineups

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers

The top daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on April 20, 2023. Mike Marteny provides NBA DFS analysis and sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

We have a three-game first-round playoff slate here with plenty of intrigue. Draymond Green is suspended. Domantas Sabonis is sore but will play, and the Warriors are heading home down 2-zip. That's just one of the three series we have going on!

The Sixers made short work of the Nets in Philly, but now head to Brooklyn for Game 3. The Suns and Clippers are the only teams coming in all square in their series as the series heads to L.A. Buckle up...this is going to be fun!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for the DraftKings and FanDuel slate beginning at 7:30 pm ET on 4/20/23. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock. Good luck RotoBallers!

DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

De'Aaron Fox - PG, SAC at GS ($9,100 DK, $10,000 FD)

I'm not willing to call this a changing of the guard just yet, but Fox has looked like the star in this series and not Curry. Fox scored 62 points in the two games in Sacramento while chipping in six rebounds, 14 assists, and seven steals. He even recorded a block in Game 2! Fox is doing everything so far in this series and he has a legit chance at 6x value on DK. That's nuts for a player priced this high. Sign me up!

Devin Booker - SG, PHX at LAC ($8,800 DK, $9,900 FD)

Booker has made 24 of his 41 shot attempts in the first two games. We all know that he can run hot sometimes, but the crazy part is that he shot that well while playing 88 of the 96 possible minutes. If Booker can keep this up, he might propel the Suns to round 2 on his own! Booker's scoring dependency makes me a little nervous because we all know KD will take over when Booker goes cold, but so far, he has been a tremendous value.

Malik Monk - SG, SAC at GS ($5,600 DK, $6,000 FD)

Monk has been a sparkplug off the bench, playing big minutes and dumping in 50 points combined in the first two games of the series. Monk may not remain hot the entire series, but he is doing more than just making shots. As long as his shot is falling and Huerter's isn't, we'll see plenty of Monk at a very reasonable price.

Others to consider: Russell Westbrook ($8,000 DK, $8,700 FD); Tyrese Maxey ($6,700 DK, $7,100 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kawhi Leonard - SF/PF, LAC vs. PHX ($9,500 DK, $10,600 FD)

Leonard has done the heavy lifting for the Clippers with Paul George out for this series. Russ has stepped up too, but Kawhi has racked up 79 points, 13 boards, and 12 assists in the first two games. He feels really cheap at this price. I know there isn't much for value here, but Kawhi is the one guy that I am going to build around, likely for this entire series. The Suns doubled him for much of Game 2 and still couldn't stop him.

Tobias Harris - SF, PHI at BKN ($5,900 DK, $7,000 FD)

Harris has quietly had two very good games to open this series. Embiid has destroyed the Nets, but Harris has scored over 20 points in each of the first two games and hauled in 12 rebounds in Game 2. He's really cheap and has racked up 77 fantasy points in the first two games. Don't sleep on Harris. He is one of my favorite plays on the entire slate.

Torrey Craig - SF/PF, PHX at LAC ($4,700 DK, $5,500 FD)

Craig has come up big for the Suns in the first two games of this series. He has scored 39 points off the bench in two games while continuing to provide solid peripheral numbers. He is almost exclusively a scorer, but he has been very efficient from the floor and even nailed five triples in Game 2. I'd rather run with Craig for value than play Warriors roulette.

Others to consider: Kevin Durant ($9,600 DK, $10,400 FD); Cameron Johnson ($5,800 DK, $6,300 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Domantas Sabonis - SAC at GS($9,000 DK, $9,000 FD)

What are the Warriors going to do without Draymond? That's the question that will decide winning DFS lineups tonight. What looks clear is that Sabonis has a decided advantage over Kuminga, Looney, or JaMychal Green. I love Embiid in this spot, but he's not taking over the game because he doesn't have to. Sabonis will if the Kings are to back the Warriors into a corner here. I'm not enamored with any of the centers here based on value to price, but Sabonis likely has the higher upside, so I'm rolling with him.

Others to consider: Joel Embiid ($10,700 DK, $11,200 FD); Ivica Zubac ($5,300 DK, $5,800 FD)
