A.J. Allmendinger finished 9th last year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Maybe the wind played havoc, but Allmendinger did not have the same magic in practice or qualifying. As a result, he begins Sunday 23rd. However, all is not lost. The Kaulig Racing driver began last Fall 21st. Though, the Spring race may be a different animal, it will be intriguing to see how Allmendinger handles the gusty winds expected again Sunday. Last year, he moved up the field during the final stage. His No. 16 Chevy seemed to gain speed and grip in the later laps. That should help from a place differential perspective. --Chris Wassel - RotoBallerRead More News
