DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 12/7/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

We have another eight-game slate for our college basketball tournaments tonight. Why DraftKings decided to leave Indiana and Nebraska off, especially after Nebraska's upset of Creighton, I will never know. It's not like it had a weird start time or anything. Anyway, on to what we do have. The early tips are Michigan State at Penn State and DePaul heading to Queens to take on St. John's. Penn and Villanova is the only tip at 7 pm tonight.

The 8 pm hour gives us Dayton in Blacksburg to take on the Hokies. The action really picks up in the 9 o'clock hour. We have UConn heading down to Gainesville. Arizona State heads over to Dallas to take on SMU. Pitt is in Nashville for a meeting with Vanderbilt. We close this out with Clemson hosting Towson. It will still be an entertaining slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/7/22 starting at 6:30 pm Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Jalen Pickett, Penn State ($8,700)

Pickett does a little bit of everything and plays a ton of minutes. He will get a triple-double at some point this season. It probably won't be here, but Pickett has at least 34 DraftKings points in every game except for the blowout win over Loyola-Maryland in the second game of the season. That includes games against Virginia Tech and Clemson. Pickett's floor is around 4.5x value, which is a very nice starting point in any format.

Jordan Dingle, Penn ($8,200)

The price has me a little leery since Villanova is a good team. They aren't as good as the last couple of years, but this is still a strong defensive squad. However, Dingle is one of the best pure scorers in the country. He has at least 20 actual points in every game since the Missouri game on November 11. In that span was a game against Hartford in which Dingle played just 18 minutes....and still scored 20. He should hit that mark here even against a team like Villanova.

Desmond Cambridge, Arizona State ($6,300)

Cambridge isn't the most consistent guy in the world, but he has nine steals in just two Pac-12 games so far. Is that more a reflection of Stanford and Colorado, or is it Cambridge getting more active on the defensive end? Is it the extra minutes that he's getting with Marcus Bagley out (only about 3-5 per game)? Is it just natural progression? Whatever it is, I'm buying in at this price.

Ezra Manjon, Vanderbilt ($4,200)

Manjon has scored in double figures in each of the last two games and is stepping up his assists and rebounds over the last 10 days or so. This is mostly a volume play as Manjon has played more than 30 minutes in four straight games and scored more than 4x value in each of those games. He's not going to break the slate, but he has a great floor for you value hunters.

Also consider: Umoja Gibson, DePaul ($8,500); Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($7,700); Zhuric Phelps, SMU ($7,300); Jamarius Burton, Pittsburgh ($7,000); Mike Sharavjamts, Dayton ($6,100); Clark Slajchert, Penn ($5,500); Camryn Winter, Penn State ($5,200); Alex Hemenway, Clemson ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

DaRon Holmes, Dayton ($8,900)

Holmes has posted back-to-back double-doubles with both Kobe Elvis and Malachi Smith out of the lineup. Both are likely to be out again tonight, so it's time to go back to Holmes. It's a tougher matchup against the Hokies, but who else on this team is going to pick up the slack? Holmes is an efficient shooter and a really good rebounder. He can hold his own against Mutts.

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($7,700)

Soriano is a double-double machine. Iowa State held him to seven points over the weekend and a brief 19 minutes of playing time against Central Connecticut State are the only time he has missed the mark. He doesn't just post double-doubles, he puts up big ones. He has at least 12 rebounds in five of the last six games. He should be able to clean the glass against DePaul as well and the Blue Demons won't be able to keep him in single figures like Iowa State did. Soriano is a favorite in cash games.

PJ Hall, Clemson ($5,900)

The Tigers inserted Hall into the starting lineup last weekend. In the two games since, he has 43 points and 11 rebounds in just 46 minutes. He is an offensive force on a team that has scored at will in wins against Penn State and Wake. We hope the minutes will increase, but even if they don't, the upside is rather high for a guy priced in this range. I'm buying in.

Alex Fudge, Florida ($4,400)

I know that UConn is a strong team, especially on the defensive end. I also know that Fudge is still grossly underpriced. He has played at least 20 minutes in four straight games now, putting up over 20 DraftKings points in the last three. Regardless of whether the Gators start him against UConn or not, we can expect another flirtation with a double-double, which is unusual for a value play.

Also consider: Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($8,400); Javan Johnson, DePaul ($8,100); Hunter Tyson, Clemson ($7,900); Warren Washington, Arizona State ($7,300); Samuell Williamson, SMU ($6,100); Mady Sissoko, Michigan State ($5,500); Jamiya Neal, Arizona State ($4,000)
