DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Week 4 Daily College Fantasy Football - Saturday Late Night (9/24/22)

Mike's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday Late Night Week 4 (9/24/22) slate. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

Had enough? I didn't think so! I could really get used to this! Our nightcap on this Saturday is another loaded four-game slate even though they sniped the USC game for the prime-time one. We can forgive them though, especially when the nightcap starts with Wyoming going down in elevations by heading down to Provo.

The last three games of our huge college football Saturday all start at the same time, 10:30 pm eastern. Hey, you know DFS addicts don't sleep! Utah heads down to the valley of the sun to take on the Herm Edwards-less Sun Devils. Stanford heads up to Seattle to take on the surging Huskies. We close it out with another MAC team heading out west when the Broncos of Western Michigan take on San Jose State. This is going to be a hell of a nightcap!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 9/24/22 locking at 10:15 pm eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Michael Penix Jr., Washington ($8,400)

It's hard to argue with what Penix has done so far in a Huskies uniform. His worst game was against Portland State when he played just three quarters and also committed his only turnover of the season. Penix was nearly flawless against Kent State and was superb against the Spartans with four touchdown passes in each of those. Will he get four against Stanford? I wouldn't rule it out! Penix isn't the rushing cheat code that he was at Indiana, but he has thrown for more than 300 yards in every game so far.

Chevan Cordeiro, San Jose State ($5,900)

Cordeiro hasn't provided much except for some empty yards this year, but he does have two rushing touchdowns. He should have some room to run against Western Michigan, but don't expect miracles. Cordeiro is this price for a reason. He hasn't committed any errors this year which has given him a decent floor, even against Auburn. He's a strong candidate for 20 DraftKings points, which is nice for the price.

Also consider: Cameron Rising, Utah ($8.000); Jaren Hall, BYU ($7,600); Andrew Peasley, Wyoming ($5,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Tavion Thomas, Utah ($8,600)

Samson Evans destroyed the Sun Devils' defense last week, and that was mostly without a passing game. Firing Herm Edwards may help eventually, but not on this quick of a turnaround with a ranked team coming to town. Thomas ran for 115 yards on Florida. He should have his best game of the year here.

Titus Swen, Wyoming ($5,800)

The Cowboys out Air-Forced Air Force last week. It has been a long time since someone has out-rushed the Falcons, but the Cowboys did so mostly on the back of Swen. Illinois locked him down in the opener, but Swen has shown a lot of promise in the two games since. He racked up 22 DraftKings points on Air Force, whose run defense is likely better than BYU's. So long as Wyoming doesn't fall behind early, they'll control this game on the ground. I like the upside and price of Swen here.

Casey Filkins, Stanford ($4,100)

E.J. Smith is reportedly not making the trip to Seattle, making Filkins the top back on the depth chart at a very low price. He's not going to get a lot of traction on that Washington defense, but I'll take a full starter's workload at this price any day. It doesn't much matter who the opponent is.

Also consider: Xazavian Valladay, Arizona State ($7,900); Wayne Taulapapa, Washington ($6,000); Sean Tyler, Western Michigan ($5,700), La'Darius Jefferson, Western Michigan ($5,300)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jalen McMillan, Washington ($7,100)

McMillan is by far the favorite target of one Michael Penix. Considering that Penix is throwing for more than three Benjamins every game, McMillan has been a DFS gold mine so far. USC was able to pass on the Cardinal without much of a problem. I expect the same here in Seattle, at least until the Huskies put the game away. Expect another strong outing from McMillan here.

Rome Odunze, Washington ($5,300)

There is only one passer on this slate putting up huge numbers, so he can sustain two receivers. Odunze can be electric with the ball in his hands. He was limited by the Michigan State defense, but all that did was keep him affordable. If you can't afford McMillan, Odunze is a great plan B. I like him as part of a Washington stack if you think the Huskies are going to run the Cardinal out of Seattle.

Brant Kuithe, Utah ($4,500)

The best tight end in college has as many touchdowns as games played on the season so far. Yes, the Utes got him in the end zone in the romp over Southern Utah in which the starters sat most of the second half while the Utes scored their most points since 1973. They aren't using Kuithe in garbage time either. Both he and Dalton Kincaid are targeted a lot by Cam Rising. This might be the only team in the country that uses their tight ends at least as often as the receivers. Take advantage of the low price on DraftKings.

Elijah Cooks, San Jose State ($4,200)

One of two Nevada transfers in the wide receiver room for the Spartans, Cooks has been even more productive than Lockhart and is a fraction of the price. Cooks led the Spartans in targets and receptions against Auburn, so he might be the favorite target of Cordeiro right now. The lack of passing touchdowns is a bit of a downer, but the targets for Cooks at this price are enough even if he doesn't get in the end zone.

Also consider: Devaughn Vele, Utah ($7,300); Justin Lockhart, San Jose State ($5,400); Michael Wilson, Stanford ($5,200); Corey Crooms, Western Michigan ($4,700);
