Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 15:
Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in practice for the second straight day on Thursday, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports. Reed returned in Week 14 against the Chicago Bears after missing 10 games due to a broken collarbone and a fracture in his foot. The dynamic wideout hauled in all four of his targets for 31 yards while adding two carries for 22 yards as a runner. The 25-year-old only played 49% of the snaps, but that should be expected in his first game back after missing a significant chunk of time.
The Packers' passing attack remained very spread out with 10 different players earning at least one target against the Bears, with Reed tying Christian Watson and Luke Musgrave for the most targets at four. Assuming he plays, Reed's snaps and usage should continue to trend up in the Week 15 matchup with the Denver Broncos, where he'll rank as a boom-or-bust WR3/flex in fantasy in a difficult road matchup.
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has been outstanding since making his season debut in Week 7 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Watson leads the team in receiving since returning, collecting 25 receptions for 452 yards and five touchdowns on 38 targets. Those numbers would put him on a 17-game pace of 60 catches for nearly 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns. The 26-year-old wideout has two multi-touchdown games in the past four weeks and has cleared 80 receiving yards in three of his seven games played, which is already the most of any Green Bay pass-catcher this season.
Watson remains one of the most explosive downfield threats in the league, a perfect fit for quarterback Jordan Love's playing style and willingness to push the ball down the field. However, Watson has a challenging Week 15 matchup coming up against the vaunted Denver Broncos defense and could be shadowed by cornerback Patrick Surtain, last year's Defensive Player of the Year.
Adonai Mitchell, WR, New York Jets
New York Jets wide receiver Adonai Mitchell was a hot waiver-wire pickup last week after his eight-catch, 102-yard performance on a season-high 12 targets that included his first touchdown of the season in the Week 13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Fantasy managers who picked him up and started him in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins were disappointed, though, as he caught just one of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss. The 23-year-old wasn't helped by the fact that quarterback Tyrod Taylor injured his groin early in the game and never returned.
Justin Fields (knee) was inactive, so third-stringer Brady Cook was forced into action and struggled mightily. Mitchell will continue to get opportunities in New York's offense with Garrett Wilson (knee) potentially done for the year, but outside of his strong Week 13 performance, Mitchell has caught only four of 19 targets for 76 yards in his other three games for the Jets.
He'll be a low-floor WR4/flex in deeper fantasy leagues heading into a Week 15 matchup against the first-place Jaguars with New York's QB situation unsettled.
Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers
After a slow start to the 2025 season, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has proved himself as a must-start receiver moving into the fantasy playoffs. Jennings has caught a touchdown in four of his last five starts and has averaged 13.9 PPR fantasy points per game since Week 9. His hot streak has gotten him back to his WR1 role in San Francisco, ahead of Ricky Pearsall and Brandon Aiyuk. With Aiyuk (knee) unlikely to play in 2025, Jennings has no reason to slow down.
He faces the Tennessee Titans in Week 15, who have allowed the sixth-most receiving yards to wide receivers in 2025, and struggled to maintain Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the snow in Week 14. Fantasy managers can fully trust Jennings as a starting option in the fantasy playoffs, as he looks to extend his touchdown streak following the bye.
Tony Pollard, RB, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard has seen his fantasy value rise after piling up 161 yards and two touchdowns against a good Cleveland Browns defense in Week 14. Managers likely haven't been in a rush to add shares from a Titans offense that has struggled for most of the year, but Pollard is the No. 25 overall PPR running back and finished second at his position last week, making him an intriguing, if risky, option for the fantasy playoffs.
The Titans take on a San Francisco 49ers defense that ranks 17th against fantasy running backs in Week 15, giving Pollard a decent but not outstanding matchup. He has 27 catches on the season and has maintained some RB3/flex value, but he could bring added value if Tennessee's offense turns a corner during the final month of the season.
