ANALYSIS: With the Bills featuring mighty QB Josh Allen this season, nothing can stop this team. Tell it to Tyler Kroft, who had a booming performance that made him the TE2 of Week 3 thanks to an incredible 18.4 PPR-point game and a couple of touchdowns. Of course, John Brown's injury and early departure from the game helped (he could only play 29 snaps), but even with that Kroft was as efficient as he could last Sunday.
The Bills got a super-large lead, then totally lost it, and have to come back to get the W against the Los Angeles Rams. Embedded in the middle of all that was Tyler Kroft, the tight end who was targeted 5 times, caught 4 of those passes for 24 yards, and scored two touchdowns to help the Bills in keeping a perfect 3-0 record to start the season. It wasn't as a good a performance as that of TE Lee Smith (1 snap, 1 target, 1 reception, 1 yard, 1 touchdown...), but it came on a large sample of snaps (44) and against a good defense, both things making Kroft's upside look good going forward.
The Bills tight end will face a much tougher D next weekend as the Raiders have allowed the fifth-least fantasy points to the position so far this season. Even with that, Kroft should still be out there on the gridiron if Dawson Knox doesn't clear the concussion protocol in time. Knox hasn't done a lot in his two games played (4.6 PPR points in each of them), so it is not out of the equation that Buffalo leaves him sitting for another week while running Kroft given his outstanding level in W3. Keep an eye on the injury report, though, as Kroft's fantasy relevance is completely dependant on Knox availability.
