BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 51% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The rookie receiver out of Arkansas couldn't have had a tougher start to his freshman NFL season. After struggling all summer through training camp suffering different maladies, Treylon Burks appeared in the first four weeks scoring a combined 24.1 PPR points with a grand total of 10 receptions and 129 yards in that early span. That has changed of late, though, coinciding with the return of Ryan Tannehill to the field.
Burks has put together two consecutive double-digit PPR-point games in the last two weeks. He reached 18.1 PPR points in W11 and is coming off a 17 PPR point game this past Sunday against Cincy.
This last game wasn't as good as his prior one (and Burks got his PPR tally boosted by a recovered-fumble-to-TD conversion) but still solid and encouraging for everybody trusting Burks ROS.
Burks would have finished with a lower 11.0 PPR points had he not recovered Derrick Henry's fumble and turned it into a touchdown, but even that would have been a nice tally all things considered. On a pure receiving basis, Burks went 4-of-6 on receptions for 70 yards, his second-largest figure of the season. He posted an 8-target, 7-reception, 111-yard line in Week 11 for a WR12 finish.
Burks has seen 6+ targets in the last three games (he missed all matches from Week 5 to Week 9, both included) and has caught 3+ in each of those outings. The results in the early season weren't great but the rapport with Tannehill seems to be stronger now and Burks could be a nice late-season addition for those needy at the WR position or navigating the remaining bye weeks.
