ANALYSIS: Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard was one of the few bright spots in their offense last season and projects to remain a focal point once again in 2025. In 2024, despite playing with below-average QB play, Pollard was able to tally a career-high 1,079 yards on the ground and 238 through the air. He found the back of the end zone five times.
During the season-opening loss to the Denver Broncos, Pollard was once again given a heavy workload as he took 18 carries for 60 yards while adding 29 yards on his lone reception. With Tyjae Spears (ankle) on the IR, Pollard figures to be given the vast majority of snaps out of the backfield.
In Week 2, the Titans will have another tough matchup against the Rams, who held the Houston Texans to just nine points in Week 1. While Pollard may not possess the highest ceiling, his projected volume will give him high-floor RB2 value.
He should be given 20+ touches in this game, which will provide him an excellent opportunity to push for double-digit PPR points.
