Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Ravens brought in Todd Monken as their new offensive coordinator, and apart from drafting Flowers, they also signed Odell Beckham Jr. to help Lamar Jackson.
While the Ravens' identity was running the ball, under Monken they will be passing the ball much more. Due to this, Flowers was projected to play a huge role for them this season.
He didn't disappoint in Week 1 and had a solid NFL debut. In this article, I'll discuss his fantasy outlook for Week 2 and whether or not he is worth starting on your fantasy football team.

Zay Flowers Fantasy Football Outlook
In Week 1, the Ravens came away with a 25-9 win against the Houston Texans. Zay Flowers was arguably their best offensive player in the game. He finished with nine receptions on 10 targets for 78 yards.
After impressing in the training camp, Flowers has eventually become the go-to guy for Jackson. However, OC Monken did say after the game he isn't sure about Flowers receiving the same amount of targets going forward as he did in Week 1.
Zay Flowers Wide Receiver Rankings Analysis
As per the latest RotoBaller staff ranking, Flowers is ranked #52. Heading into the season, he had an average ADP of #115, but given how he performed in Week 1, his stock has risen.
Lamar Jackson has looked comfortable throwing the ball to Flowers, and it's expected the Boston College product will continue to make a name for himself in the NFL.
Should I Start Zay Flowers In Week 2 Fantasy Football?
For this upcoming week, you should definitely start Zay Flowers. The rookie receiver is full of confidence after an impressive debut and could have another big game alongside Beckham Jr.
The Ravens will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, who are coming off a poor loss to the Cleveland Browns. With J.K. Dobbins sidelined for the rest of the season, the Ravens are likely to pass the ball much more than run it. It will undoubtedly result in decent usage for Flowers, which is why he will be a good option to start on your fantasy team.
