BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 16% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Tennessee lost no time in throwing Ryan Tannehill back to the gridiron the minute he was ready and fit to play after missing weeks 8 and 9. The comeback was great with Tannehill performing to QB1 levels of play and completing his best of the season to date with a 19.4-FP tally against Denver.
Now, things are looking even better for Tannehill. In his second game back with the Titans, Tannehill set a new season-high with 20.0 FP at Green Bay on TNF. Tannehill went on to play the most offensive plays of the season (66 snaps) while completing 22-of-27 pass attempts for 333 yards and 2 TDs (against one interception). All of those marks were, once more, season-high numbers.
Prior to the last TNF, Tannehill had topped at 20 completions, 266 yards, and an 81 percent completion rate (he set a new high at 81.5% in Week 11). That makes it back-to-back QB1 outings from Tannehill. When healthy, there is no denying the veteran is a surefire QB8-to-QB16 level of quarterback weekly, no matter the matchup, and that's factoring in the putrid Titans' receiving corps.
It's hard to see Tannehill leveling up with season-high numbers week after week as he's done in the past couple of weeks but one can definitely see the veteran keeping up some 16+ FPPG floor without much trouble for the remainder of the year.
