BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 6% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jarvis Landry was on the Injured Reserve. Marquez Callaway was a healthy scratch on Sunday. Rashid Shaheed led the team in snaps and only Chris Olave ran more routes (one more, though) than Shaheed against the Eagles in the Saints' second-to-last game of the season as they got eliminated from the postseason.
Shaheed has been a fantastic discovery by New Orleans. It's been now three weeks of the last four scoring double-digit fantasy points for Shaheed, and he's coming off his second-best game of the year after putting together a perfect 6-for-6 receiving outcome for 79 yards.
From Week 12 (included) on, Shaheed has scored 7.9, 10.5, 18.5, 8.1, and lastly 13.9 PPR points and finished as a top-45 player at the position in all of those slates except the first one.
Shaheed will probably have a larger role in the offense next season considering the Saints' late-season moves when it came to their pass-catchers rotation of players. Shaheed has been impressive at catching the rock, hauling in 19 of his last 22 targets.
The Saints WR might not have the highest of ceilings or upside going into the last game of the season, but he should at least retain his WR2 role for one more weekend to close the year and with how efficient he's been when relied upon odds are he ends getting to his 10-to-12 PPR ballpark once more.
