BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 44% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Just in case you needed one more reason to roster Rachaad White this season, Leonard Fournette just went down injured in Tampa Bay's Week 10 game against Seattle last Sunday. That's actually just one (big) reason because perhaps the most important one was White's own usage as the lead back of the Bucs.
White is coming off his first start of the year playing every snap on the first drive and (helped by Fournette's injury, obviously) appearing in 48 snaps to Lenny's 22. It's the first game of the year in which White has been on the field for more than 31 snaps and also the first one in which he got a snap share (64%) above 43%.
White didn't have the most ridiculous of games in terms of actual production racking up "only" 105 yards, but the volume was crazy with the tailback getting to rush the rock 22 times.
That 22-carry usage has only been seen 38 times through Week 10 by all RBs in the NFL this season, and White's 10.5 PPR tally is the third-lowest one on such volume. In other words: expect some positive regression and much better fantasy scores if he keeps getting that sort of usage.
Tampa is going on their bye week next weekend so there is a big chance Fournette is back and ready to play in time for the Bucs' Week 12 matchup. Even then, the early signs of W10 bode well for White going forward. We've been telling you to chase the Bucs' RB for a while now and this week, even with TB out of the schedule, might be the last opportunity to land him.
No need to mention that if Leonard Fournette misses time, then White becomes a must-roster, must-start player everywhere.
