As the final stop of the PGA Tour regular season, time is very much of the essence for the 155 players teeing it up in Greensboro this week. While some names like Si Woo Kim, Sam Burns, and Sungjae Im are battling to improve their starting position heading into the FedEx Cup Playoffs, other marquee names like Justin Thomas, Shane Lowry, and Adam Scott find themselves on the outside looking in with four rounds to play. Only 70 invites will be handed out to Memphis at the end of Sunday's proceedings at Sedgefield, making this week among the most consequential of the entire season. I and the entire Rotoballer PGA staff have put out 1,000s of words on the course, key stats, and field this week, so this article won't be focused on the minutiae of projecting outright winners or DFS pivot plays. J.T. Poston MORE than 15.5 Pars or Better

For a player that notably went 72 holes at Sedgefield without a bogey in his 2019 triumph, I couldn't think of a prop that suits J.T. Poston better than "Pars or Better." Poston has been rock solid in his play recently: logging finishes of 2nd, 6th, and 6th on either side of a career-best 41st at the Open Championship, and now returns to the site of his first PGA Tour victory. J.T.'s game has always been well suited for these easy, positional, wedge-intensive venues (Deer Run, River Highlands, Harbour Town, etc), and at 49th in the FedEx Cup standings, it seems as though his all-around game has taken a sizable step forward in his Age 30 campaign. Poston has gained strokes putting in six of his last seven starts, and at a venue that defends itself primarily through tricky green complexes and thick rough, Poston ranks inside the top five in both Three-Putt Avoidance and Scrambling Percentage. A native of nearby Hickory, North Carolina, J.T. is sure to have the support, confidence, and motivation he needs to put together another solid week around Sedgefield.

Ludvig Aberg MORE than 68.0 Strokes

As bullish as I was on the young Swede in Minneapolis last week, I don't see a lot of congruency with Aberg's game around Sedgefield. Firm, narrow fairways, and tricky Bermuda rough do as good a job as we've seen in recent memory of mitigating elite driving, and when you take away Ludvig's biggest weapon, the rest of his game has not shown it can stand up to Tour standards quite yet. Aberg has lost strokes on Approach in four of his five professional starts, ranks outside the top 100 in my key proximity range of 150-175, and has yet to break 70 in six rounds on the two closest comp. courses I've identified (Innisbrook and Sea Island). If there were ever a course that could dim this ascendant star, it would be a venue like Sedgefield.
