Single-Stat NFL Totals

Kirk Cousins less than 240.5 passing yards - I was wrong on Cousins last week as he threw for a whopping 340 passing yards against the Lions, but this week he is facing a Steelers defense that has allowed an average of just over 210 passing yards per game to quarterbacks over their previous four games. Cousins will also be without Adam Theilen in this one, so his options will be limited once again, only this time the Steelers have capable defenders to help limit Justin Jefferson. The Steelers have also struggled against running backs by allowing over 133 rushing yards per game over their previous four games, which is ranked third-worst in the league over that span.

Alexander Mattison over rushing yards - I like to get these prop articles our as early as possible, and at this juncture, there is no total set for Mattison as I assume they are awaiting official word of Dalvin Cook's status. With Cook set to miss this game, Mattison will likely have a total set around 70 rushing yards and that is a number we should look to attack. As aforementioned, the Steelers have struggled mightily against the run and have allowed two one hundred-yard rushers in their previous four games. Mattison has filled in nicely for Dalvin Cook as he has averaged over 24 carries and 105 rushing yards per game in his absence. The Vikings will certainly try to establish the run in this game and the fact that they are three-point favorites should also lend to more running as well.

Diontae Johnson over 74.5 receiving yards - Johnson has been the man in Pittsburgh this season as he has averaged nearly 12 targets per game over his last seven games and has also gone over this total in each of his previous four games. He gets about as good of a matchup as possible in this one as the Vikings have allowed wide receivers to average nearly 195 receiving yards per game over their previous four games. They have also allowed at least one wide receiver to go over this total in every game they have played since Week 6.

Ben Roethlisberger over 240.5 passing yards - Pairing Johnson and Big Ben should be the way to go in this one. Aside from allowing nearly 200 yards per game to wide receivers, the Vikings are also allowing an average of over 257 passing yards per game to quarterbacks over their previous four games. Four of the last six quarterbacks the Vikings have faced have gone over this total and Ben has gone over this total in three of his previous five games.
