6/11:Baltimore Orioles closer Zach Britton (Achilles) will be activated from the disabled list Monday prior to the Orioles game against the Red Sox, per The Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli. A countermove has not yet been announced. Britton has yet to pitch in the big leagues this season but has been an elite closer for the Orioles in the past. However, with Brad Brach currently serving as the closer and Darren O'Day recently returning to the bullpen, it may be a while before Britton's role is defined. He is worth a roster spot as a speculative source of saves, although given how the Orioles have played this season, there may not be many save opportunities to be had. Expect Baltimore to ease Britton back into high-leverage situations. The biggest loser will be Brach eventually.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
