3 years agoThe New York Yankees have met with the representatives for all of the top left-handed-hitting first basemen, including Freddie Freeman. The Atlanta Braves seem likely to re-sign Freeman, while retaining Anthony Rizzo or trading for Oakland Athletics first baseman Matt Olson might be more realistic options for the Yankees. Freeman, the 2020 National League MVP, would require a large investment, and it's worth wondering if New York would go to those lengths when they could also be going after free-agent shortstops Carlos Correa and Corey Seager. Freeman is already one of the most attractive first baseman in fantasy, but he'd be even more attractive in the Bronx with Yankee Stadium's short right field porch.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
