Heliot Ramos Hits Leadoff Homer
Heliot Ramos went yard off Nestor Cortes to start Monday night's 4-3 win over the Padres. Ramos finished the game 2-for-5 with his solo homer, a single, and three strikeouts. He's hitting .267 on the season with 15 homers and a .327 wOBA. For the most part, this season is on par with his breakout performance last year, although his power numbers are down, while his runs scored production is slightly up. The home run was his first since July 5 and snapped a 34-game homerless drought. During that span, he's struggled a bit, hitting only .250 with a .274 wOBA. He took some heat on social media for some comments about the Giants' fans over the weekend, but he made them and his fantasy managers happy with his contributions on Monday.
