Wilyer Abreu Batting Third for Boston Against Orioles
Wilyer Abreu is starting in right field and will bat third for Sunday's series finale at Fenway Park against the division-rival Baltimore Orioles and right-hander Dean Kremer. It's Abreu's second straight start batting third with third baseman Alex Bregman (quadriceps) on the injured list and expected to miss significant time. The 25-year-old figures to hit third regularly against right-handed pitchers until Bregman returns, raising his fantasy ceiling in the short-term. Abreu has displayed plenty of power in the first third of the 2025 season, smashing 11 home runs and driving in 27 while also hitting .257 (43-for-167) with 24 runs scored and four stolen bases. He's been cold of late, though, going 2-for-21 (.095) with a double and five strikeouts in seven games since May 14. Fantasy managers will be hoping his new lineup spot will get him out of his funk.
