4 years agoContract talks between the Minnesota Vikings and star running back Dalvin Cook broke off on Tuesday, according to sources. Talks could restart again at a later date, but for now, Cook is focused on getting ready for Week 1 as he enters the final year of his rookie deal. The franchise tag could be looming for him in 2021. The 25-year-old had 1,153 rushing yards and caught 53 passes for 519 yards with 13 touchdowns as the team's workhorse running back in 2019. Fantasy managers should look at him as a top-five running back with the potential to be used even more in the aerial attack this season with Stefon Diggs no longer in town.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
