Victor Vodnik Throws Successful Live Batting Practice Session
Victor Vodnik (shoulder) threw a successful live batting practice session on Monday and should progress to the next step in his rehab from inflammation in his right shoulder that landed him on the 15-day injured list on April 20, according to interim manager Warren Schaeffer. Barring a setback as the 25-year-old builds up his arm, he could return to Colorado's major-league bullpen later this month. His next step will likely be being cleared to start a minor-league rehab assignment. Before his shoulder injury, Vodnik had appeared in nine games in relief for the Rockies early in the 2025 season and had allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits (two homers) while walking six and striking out eight in eight innings pitched with one save. Vodnik had nine saves a year ago and will be a late-inning option for Colorado when he's back from the IL.
