Victor Robles Remains Out On Friday
4 months agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles (hip) remains absent from the starting lineup ahead of Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants. Robles continues to sit out after exiting early from Tuesday's contest. The 27-year-old crashed into the center field wall and was forced to exit that contest. The organization continues to consider Robles as day-to-day, so hopefully he'll be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. He has been on fire with the bat since joining the Mariners roster. Robles is hitting .280 with three home runs and 11 RBI in 50 games with Seattle. Dominic Canzone will cover right field and bat seventh versus right-hander Hayden Birdsong on Friday. Fantasy managers can avoid Canzone who is struggling to the tune of a .201 batting average with eight long balls this season.
