New York Mets shortstop prospect Elian Pena showcased his power potential on Monday, clubbing three home runs in a Dominican Summer League contest. The 17-year-old now has nine long balls across 54 games this season, while slashing .299/.423/.540 with 21 stolen bases. Signed for $5 million out of the international market this past offseason, Pena is quickly justifying the investment with his blend of pop and speed.
