Tyrone Tracy Jr. on the Week 3 Injury Report
Tyrone Tracy Jr. (calf) finds himself on the Week 3 injury report after he was limited in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Rookie Cam Skattebo is also on the report with an ankle injury, but he was a full-go on Wednesday and should be fine for Sunday night's tilt against a stiff Kansas City Chiefs defense. Tracy played 74% of the offensive snaps in the Week 1 loss to the Washington Commanders, but that number dropped to 42% in Sunday's overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys as he watched Skattebo take over the backfield and score his first career touchdown. The 25-year-old second-year back is being used as a returner on special teams now, too, which could signal that the Giants are already comfortable giving Skattebo a bigger role in the backfield. Now dealing with an injury, Tracy is quickly losing fantasy appeal and is shaping up as a shaky RB3/flex if he plays in Week 3.
