1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill (knee) is back in left field and is hitting sixth for St. Louis on Friday against the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates and right-hander Mitch Keller. The Cardinals held the oft-injured O'Neill out of Thursday's lineup with recurring left-knee soreness, but he'll be back in there for the weekend series against Pittsburgh. Injuries aside, not much has gone right for the 28-year-old Canadian power/speed threat in 2023, as he's hitting just .231/.317/.397 in 199 at-bats with seven home runs, 16 RBI, four stolen bases and 23 runs scored for the Red Birds. In his last six games, he's gone 2-for-18 with seven strikeouts. All fantasy managers can hope for now is that he can end the year on a positive note heading into the offseason.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
