Tyler Allgeier a Touchdown-Dependent Flex Option in Week 7
Tyler Allgeier scored for the third time in his last four games in Week 6, and while he also logged double-digit carries for the fourth time this season, the 25-year-old tallied just 3.2 yards per carry, which was buoyed by a 21-yard run that amounted to the bulk of his 32 total yards. Although he likely can't keep up this touchdown pace, the fourth-year pro has carved out a solid role as the No. 2 back in Atlanta, and as long as the game remains competitive, Allgeier figures to get enough work to keep him in the Flex conversation. A competitive game appears to be in the cards in Week 7 against the 49ers, so the BYU product sets up as a high-end RB4/Flex play, but fantasy managers should be aware that if he doesn't find the end zone, there will be little fantasy production to be had as the 5-foot-10 running back is not a factor in the passing game.
