Trent Grisham Stays Hot In Game 3 Win
2 years agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Trent Grisham stayed hot in the Game 3 win over the New York Mets on Sunday in the National League Wild-Card Series, going 2-for-2 with an RBI, run scored and a walk in the 6-0 shutout win. Grisham hit an embarrassing .184/.284/.341 with 17 home runs, 53 RBI, 58 runs scored and seven stolen bases in 451 at-bats during the regular season, but he's been a different hitter so far in three postseason games in 2022. In the three games against the Mets over the weekend, he went 4-for-8 with two home runs, three RBI, two walks, two hit by pitches and five runs scored to help the Padres advance to the NL Division Series this week against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers. They'll need him to stay hot in order to take down the favored Dodgers.
