Travis Hunter Working with Wideouts Early
Travis Hunter is working with the offense to start training camp, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. Specifically, Hunter is working on his releases, and it's exciting that Jacksonville would have him focus on the offensive aspect of his game first. Much has been made regarding the 22-year-old's ability to play both ways, and even more so on how much time he'll get at each position. For now, at least, it appears that the team is prioritizing his impact on offense. Hunter's upside is sky-high heading into his rookie season, and other than teammate Brian Thomas Jr., few other Jaguars pass-catchers pose a threat in terms of garnering targets. It could be bumpy early on as he adjusts to NFL defenses, but he should inject a good bit of juice into Jacksonville's passing game.
