Tony Gonsolin To Start Game 2 Against Rays
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers rookie right-handed pitcher Tony Gonsolin will start Game 2 of the World Series against the Rays on Wednesday. Gonsolin faced 11 batters and tossed 41 pitches in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series against Atlanta on Sunday, so he may only be able to go a couple of innings. Manager Dave Roberts said that youngsters Julio Urias and Dustin May will also be available out of the bullpen on Wednesday, although Urias and May combined to face 14 batters in Game 7. Whoever is freshest among Gonsolin, May and Urias will likely start in Game 4 on Saturday. Because Gonsolin may not go over a few innings on Wednesday, he's not a sound DFS choice on Wednesday over Rays starter Blake Snell.
