5/17:Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register is reporting that Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Tony Cingrani (shoulder) threw a 40-pitch bullpen session on Wednesday and is on track to be activated off the disabled list on Saturday. He was placed there last week with "left shoulder inflammation," and Saturday marks the first day he is eligible to return, which is a great sign. The lefty middle reliever owns a rough 5.79 ERA but has electric strikeout stuff (22 K's in 14 innings pitched). He's not in the mix for saves, but could help with holds, strikeouts and K/9. We also think his ratios will improve if he can stay healthy.--Devon Taylor - RotoBaller
