Tommy Pham Doesn't Make It Back For Second Game
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham (wrist) did not start the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday against the Red Sox after being hit by a pitch in the right wrist in Game 1. The good news is that X-rays turned up negative on Pham's wrist, so he should be considered day-to-day with a chance to return on Sunday for the series finale. Injuries have hurt Pham before, but when he's on the field he can contribute across all fantasy categories for his owners. The 31-year-old is hitting .288/.404/.462 with eight long balls, 26 runs, 25 RBI and six stolen bases in 255 plate appearances in 2019.
