2 years agoHouston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said the team plans to add to the quarterback position this offseason through free agency and the draft. "We have one quarterback on the roster. We have to add at that position and we'll do it thru free agency and the draft. We have to add two guys to our roster. I think the system is built around the quarterback as opposed to trying to fit a quarterback into a certain system," Ryans said. Davis Mills is the only QB the Texans currently have on roster. It would be a surprise if Houston didn't take a signal-caller in the first round of April's draft, and they will also address the position with a veteran in free agency. It would be a pretty big surprise if Mills is the team's starter to open the 2023 campaign.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
