Tee Higgins A True Deep Threat
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver Tee Higgins, drafted 33rd overall in the second round, had the third-most receiving yards on deep targets among Power 5 receivers last year with 565 and the third-most contested catches in the ACC since 2018 with 23, per Pro Football Focus. A high percentage of those numbers came against opposing teams' best defenders. Higgins projects to be a key part of the team's offensive plan for years to come, but there is uncertainty over his role in 2020 with A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd, John Ross III and Auden Tate all in the fold. He'll also be working with a rookie quarterback in Joe Burrow, which means that the 21-year-old doesn't have a ton of appeal in standard redraft leagues.
