New York Jets first-time offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, who is the Jets' 10th offensive coordinator and 11th play-caller in the last 15 seasons, will have added pressure in New York with head coach Aaron Glenn being defensive-minded. ESPN's Rich Cimini writes that the offense will have a Lions flavor to it, from scheme to coaching, after Engstrand previously worked under offensive coordinator Ben Johnson in Detroit. Engstrand will lean heavily on former Lions tight ends coach Steve Heiden, who will coach the offensive line and be heavily involved in the ground game.
