Steven Kwan Out Against Lefty
Steven Kwan is not in the team's starting lineup for Friday's series opener against the visiting Houston Astros at Progressive Field. Daniel Schneemann will get the start in left field and will bat fifth against Astros rookie left-hander Colton Gordon. Kwan doesn't hold much power but is still one of the best table-setters and contact men in the game, but he's struggled of late and went 7-for-32 (.219) with a homer, three RBI and a stolen base in his last nine games played. The 27-year-old is still hitting a strong .306 (72-for-235) on the year for fantasy managers with five homers, 21 RBI, 30 runs and eight steals. Schneemann will be a deep DFS sleeper while replacing Kwan. He has hit .200 (4-for-20) in limited at-bats against lefties this year, and all seven of his long balls have come off righties.
