Stephen Strasburg Throws Lightly Monday
4 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg (hand) threw "very lightly" on Monday, according to manager Dave Martinez. Strasburg is feeling less of a tingling feeling in his thumb after being scratched from his first start of the season on Saturday, but the Nationals haven't determined a timeline for his return. It's a disappointing start to the season for those that had high expectations for the reigning World Series MVP, especially since this season will only consist of 60 games. Consider the 32-year-old day-to-day for now, and he'll be a must-start in all leagues when he makes his debut. Erick Fedde replaced Stras last Saturday against the Yankees.
