Stephen Piscotty Has Surgery On Ear
6 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Stephen Piscotty (ear) underwent surgery to remove a melanoma from his right ear and is expected to return to the team within the next week. The 28-year-old has been pretty average so far in 2019 with a .250/.314/.400 slash line, eight home runs, 34 runs, 29 RBI and two stolen bases as the A's primary right fielder. Expect to be without him for most, if not all, of next week. Chad Pinder is starting in right field and is hitting fifth on Friday against Mariners left-handed starter Marco Gonzales. Pinder has sneaky power and is a great DFS play against the struggling Gonzales this evening.
