Shohei Ohtani To Showcase Two-Way Skills In All-Star Game
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher/designated hitter Shohei Ohtani will not only be starting on the mound for the American League team in the 2021 All-Star game on Tuesday, but he'll also be hitting for himself and batting leadoff. Ohtani has done it all this year, leading all of baseball with 33 home runs while also posting a 3.49 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and an 87/35 K/BB in 67 innings over 13 starts on the mound. The 27-year-old superstar disappointed fans by getting knocked out in the first round of the Home Run Derby on Monday, but he'll get another chance on Tuesday to impress baseball fans across the world. What the Japanese sensation has done over the course of the first half of the season has been absolutely amazing. His fantasy managers, and fans everywhere, will be looking forward to what he does next.
