Shelby Miller Aiming For June Return
7 years agoInjured Diamondbacks starter Shelby Miller is aiming to return to the rotation in June following Tommy John surgery last season. Miller hasn't pitched a regular season game since last April, when he tore his UCL in a game against the Dodgers. His rehab is reportedly going well, as he threw his sixth bullpen session on Friday. He threw 35 pitches at a reported 80 percent effort. Miller has yet to throw his split-finger fastball due to the strain it puts on his arm, however, Miller says his timing feels good and feels that he should be throwing in lives games soon enough. Fantasy owners shouldn't worry about Miller until he returns to the D'Backs and can string together multiple solid performances.
