Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Seth Jones (knee) looked completely healthy in his season debut on Tuesday, logging a team-high 27:24 in a 4-1 loss to Arizona. Jones spent 2:48 on the power play and picked up four and a half minutes shorthanded. He had no points but did record four shots, three blocks, and one hit. The Jackets are near the bottom of the league in goals allowed, so Jones' presence was much needed on the blueline. He had 57 points for a career year last season, averaging 24:36 on the ice. His minutes on his season debut point to the fact that head coach John Tortorella is ready to count on him even more.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
