Sergei Bobrovsky Starts Season Opener For Florida

Florida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky will be between the pipes for Thursday's season opener against Pittsburgh. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner is closing in on 300 career wins and looks set up for success against the Penguins as Sidney Crosby (wrist) and Evgeni Malkin (knee) remain unavailable. Bobrovsky carries a big contract but Spencer Knight impressed during his first few NHL outings last season and the 20-year-old is set to push the Russian for playing time.
