6/10:Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea turned in a great start on Sunday against the Royals but had to settle for a no-decision. The lefty pitched seven 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Manaea has now tossed two consecutive solid starts after a rough stretch of six starts in which he allowed at least three runs. He now owns a 5-6 record with a 3.49 ERA and a 1.01 WHIP in 87 2/3 innings pitched. Manaea is scheduled to make his next start Saturday against the Angels, who have hit a measly .212 against lefties this season, the second-lowest average in baseball.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
