The Seattle Seahawks have opened negotiations with Pro Bowl safety Quandre Diggs with hopes of re-signing him this offseason, according to sources. Diggs is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 16, but the Seahawks are hoping to sign him to a multi-year deal. Seattle would also like to bring back cornerbacks D.J. Reed and Sidney Jones, if possible. The franchise tag could be a possibility for Diggs as well if the Seahawks need to buy more time to work on an extension. Diggs made his second straight Pro Bowl in 2021 after recording a career-high 94 tackles (66 solo), five interceptions and seven passes defensed in 17 games. Even after suffering a fractured fibula in the season finale that required surgery, the 29-year-old could demand as much as $11-12 million per year on his next deal.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
