San Francisco D/ST Welcomes Titans In Week 15
The San Francisco 49ers D/ST turned in solid results in recent weeks. In their last two games, the 49ers held both of their opponents under 10 points, recorded two takeaways in each game, and totaled four sacks. San Francisco has had trouble generating sacks in 2025, but they should be easier to come by in Week 15 when the Niners host the Titans. Tennessee has allowed the second-most sacks and the fifth-most quarterback pressures in the league. Further benefitting the 49ers is the Titans' ineptitude on offense, which has generated the fewest yards per game and the second-fewest points scored. As has been the case all season, the 49ers' defense will have to navigate injuries. This week, linemen Yetur Gross-Matos (hamstring) and Sam Okuayinonu (ankle), and linebackers Tatum Bethune (ankle) and Nick Martin (concussion) are all out. The matchup is nearly as good as it gets, though, so San Francisco's D/ST may be worth rolling with on Sunday.
