2 years agoThe Athletic's Joe Rexrode thinks Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill is the overwhelming favorite to return as the starter in 2023. There remains a chance the Titans fall in love with a QB in the draft and trade up from No. 11 overall in the first round. For continuity of personnel with new offensive coordinator Tim Kelly, who was with the Titans in 2022, it makes sense. Tannehill missed five games with an ankle injury in 2022 and finished on Injured Reserve. He remains an accurate QB, but his mobility has declined with age. The 34-year-old has the eighth-best EPA per dropback among QBs with at least 1,000 pass attempts since joining the Titans in 2019. Tannehill had surgery on his ankle in December, leaving some more uncertainty about whether he can bounce back in 2023, with the Titans or elsewhere.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
